Just in your digestive system there are ONE TRILLION bacteria!Their total weight is 4 pounds (just under 2kg).

That means having ahealthy gutis hugely important in having ahealthy microbiome,and therefore astrongandhealthy bodyoverall thatradiateshealthandvitality,with astrong immune system.

There's even research coming out that points to a potential link betweendementiaandAlzheimer'spotentiallystarting in the gut,because as we age,our gut acidity decreases.No solid conclusions have been reached yet,but it certainlyunderscores theimportance of maintaining a high level of healthy gut bacteria.

Let's talk about your 'Second Brain'

This is getting a lot of buzz at the moment,so you may have heard about it.

Neurotransmittersare the chemicals in your body that regulate your physiology以及如何feel.

Scientists are finding that the neurotransmitters found in the brain,such asnorepinephrine,epinephrine,dopamine and serotoninare allfound in the gut too.

I'm not a scientist,but the general consensus seems to be thatthe healthier your gutandmicrobiome,themore chanceyou have of not just being healthyphysically,but alsomentally.
